Getting older has always scared me, but as I approach a big milestone birthday I feel a change in the air. All the years of learning, growing and adapting to get to this point in my life are culminating into something really special. It’s a great time to be alive.
Theres a confidence that comes from experience, from constantly pushing the boundaries forward and never sitting still. I’ve returned to my first love of painting and it feels like I have finally come home to roost, and so many incredible opportunities and experiences have flowed from taking that plunge. It really does feel like my time to shine, and at its core, that is what this painting is about.
